Arete SB 150W/ch – 2.0 Channel Power Amplifier
Enough Power to drive most demanding speakers, The Arete SB150 offers 150W per channel of clean power on the tap.The amplifier has all the grunt and dynamics to power every crescendo of an orchestra.
An additional circuit ensures that no DC components reach the output and the rest voltage is below 1mv. The stereo channels are completely separated after the transformer, which reduces crosstalk and other interference to a minimum. The operating voltage of the power amplifiers is buffered channel-separately via audio capacitors with a total capacity of 120,000µF and a customised 1KVA toroidal transformer
Since this is a high gain amplifier all you need is a DAC with volume control to run this amp (Even something as simple as an SMSL Sanskrit 10Mk2 would do.
The Arete SB150 Transudio series of power amplifiers are commissioned by SoundFoundations and custom built with a few power supply modifications for the Indian market.
